Bathroom remodel

Basement bathroom transformation

This basement bathroom went from dated and cramped to a bright, modern space that feels anything but underground. We removed the old bathtub to open up the room, then expanded the shower area for a more spacious, spa-like experience.

The star of the remodel is the white and black tile work, with a bold, upscale look. Frameless glass shower doors keep the room open and let the tile take center stage, and a matte black showerhead brings both style and performance.

Backyard before: bare lawn beside the house
Before
The same backyard after: an elevated wood deck with seating under a pergola
After
Custom deck

From bare yard to backyard retreat

An empty patch of lawn became a warm, inviting outdoor living space. We designed and built a custom elevated deck and entertainment area, instantly expanding the home’s usable square footage.

With durable decking, custom railing and room for seating, it is made for morning coffee, weekend cookouts and evenings outside.

Meet Nick

A local contractor, born and raised around the trades

Hi, I’m Nick DeVries. I grew up in construction with my parents in the home repair and real estate business, and I learned to build and remodel homes from the time I could walk. My family’s been building in Virginia for decades.

Today I specialize in high-quality, affordable work, from decks and bathrooms to siding, flooring and tile. No project is too small or too large, and I’ll design it with you. Let’s make your home better than ever.
